Rock the Casbah, by Scott Listfield
Off topic here, but Somerville Open Studios is this weekend. As a resident of Somerville, the most densely populated and highest artist per resident ratio-ed city outside of New York in the USA, I suggest everyone go to open studios this year. Over 300 artists at over 100 locations means there’s some art for everyone. Two places of note are:

• the Somerville Museum, which has selections from many of the artists
• My friend Scott Listfield’s work (shown above). If you like your art with references to Damien Hirst, Planet of the Apes, Star Wars, and Busta Rhymes, well, it would be hard to imagine you not liking Scott’s. Scott is showing with Jason Chase
